This case is cut for the 7-inch Kindle Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature Edition and Colorsoft Signature Edition from 2024 to 2025. It does not fit the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft (2025) or the older 6.8-inch Paperwhite, so confirm the screen size before ordering. Fit is the one thing in this decision you can get objectively wrong.

Built around the reading, not just the device

A Kindle case earns its place by what happens while you are holding it. The interior hand strap takes the weight so you can read one-handed for an hour without gripping. The magnetic lid folds flat behind the back cover instead of flapping, and the magnets trigger the sleep and wake feature, so closing the case turns the screen off.

Materials

The exterior is 100% PU leather with a Saffiano texture, printed on the front cover with a smooth satin finish. Inside, the Kindle sits in a soft TPU shell molded into the back cover, which handles the impact of a drop, and the inside lid is lined with soft dark gray fabric.

Prints drawn for one flat panel

The front cover is the only printed surface, about 5 by 7.5 inches, with the spine and back staying black Saffiano. That is a rare thing in our range: most of our products need an allover repeat, but this panel can carry a real composition, so a single large floral or a centred motif works here where it would break on a phone case. Because the print is UV cured onto a rigid surface, fine line work holds better than on a curved shell.

Does it fit the Kindle Scribe?

No. It does not fit the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft (2025), and it does not fit the older 6.8-inch Paperwhite either.

Kindle case, cover or sleeve: what is the difference?

Case and cover are the same thing and we use both words for this product: a hinged shell that protects the front and back and stays on while you read. A sleeve is a separate pouch you slide the Kindle into and take it out of before reading. We make cases, not sleeves.

Does it have a hand strap?

Yes, an elastic strap on the inside of the back cover, so you can hold the Kindle one-handed without gripping the edges.

Does closing the case put the Kindle to sleep?

Yes. The magnets in the lid trigger the sleep and wake feature.

Is it real leather?

No, it is PU leather with a Saffiano texture, which looks and feels like grained leather.

Is the whole case printed?

The print covers the front cover. The spine and back stay black Saffiano, which is why designs with a darker edge tend to look best.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a soft, damp cotton or microfiber cloth. Avoid chemicals.
